About Judy Strickland

I grew up on a ranch on the Western Slope of Colorado. I have always loved painting! I painted what I saw around me - the Aspen trees, Evergreen trees, rocks, clouds, sunsets, mountains, flowers and birds. I painted with oils and acrylics for years. I went back to college to get my third degree in 1991, this time in Interior Design. I owned my own company for 26 years and loved helping clients remodel their homes and offices. I also did home additions. I was working with colors and textures. After retiring, painting came back into the picture, but this time I decided to tackle a new medium, watercolor!
